I rescued a tiny puppy from the pound just before it was to get The Needle. No one seemed to know what breed he was. Once he grew up, after exhaustive research including DNA testing, we concluded he is a Rat Terrier mix.

Well, I became so attached to him that when our Golden (and his best friend) died, I decided to get a pedigreed Rat Terrier for his new companion. I bought a Decker Rat Terrier puppy from the only breeder in the state.Photos

I now Have six guinea pigs!
I got 2 females a while ago and one was preg when I got her.

Murphy our cat has taken to miaowing in front of us at around 8.30pm every night, and my husband has to accompany her into the kitchen and stand over her while she feeds ... this has been going on for about a year now, and someone says it is because she is 'asking permission' of the leader of the pack - ie MrSage. If he won't oblige then I do it .... tonight she refused to eat from her bowl but licked my bare toes instead ... which is hardly complimentary!

I would like to introduce you to the newest member of my
family. Below is Caleb, an 8 week old, mixed breed male,
rescued from a local shelter. Neither the vet, nor I have
any clue what mix of breeds he may be, but the vet
believes he will reach about 50-60 lbs.

His markings are gorgeous and he has beautiful eyes.
He seems to be very smart. In 10 days time he has
learned to sit, lay down,...

I,m hoping that our Hedgehogs (who live under the shed) come out this year. One day there was a hedgehog in our garden, so I went up to it, but the odd thing was it didn,t curl up. I think we have 5 or more living under our shed.
